Belle Mare Plage The Resort, situated along one of the most beautiful beaches on the east coast of the island, offer an extensive range of amenities. It is an ideal location for novice or professional golfers with its two 18-hole Championship Golf Courses, set in a 150-hectares private natural park.
The resort is situated directly on a 2 km long white sandy beach. Set in tropical gardens of almost 15 hectares. Two 18 holes Championship golf courses stretch for another 140 hectares. The beach is protected by an offshore coral reef making it ideal for swimming, watersports and snorkelling.

The Legend
'The Legend', the first of its kind in Mauritius, designed by South African champion, Hugh Baiocchi, is the crowning achievement of Constance Belle Mare Plage The Resort, located along one of the most superb beaches on the island. Each of the 18 holes has distinctive characteristics. Superb fairways are laid in the heart of an indigenous forest, culminating in brand new greens, built to USPGA specifications. In our constant effort to provide the perfect golfing location, all 18 greens have been rebuilt using Tif Dwarf grasses to ensure a perfect surface. Time has also been taken to enhance the natural beauty of a site originally used to breed deer. Teeing off from the 17th hole (par 3) is a feast for the eyes and a test for the nerves.
The Links Golf
The second Belle Mare Plage The Resort Championship Golf Course, designed by Rodney Wright and Peter Allis opened in November 2002. This 18-hole Links course was conceived as a result of the success and demands encountered by Hotels Constance's first course, 'The Legend'. Sitting beneath the clubhouse which faces the setting sun, the course measures 5,942 m and has a par of 71. Equipped with a practice fairway, this 18-hole course is set in a location which seems to have been naturally created for the purpose.

92 Prestige Rooms :
Distributed in 3 levels (Ground Floor, First Floor and Second Floor), the 92 sea facing prestige rooms are located on the south wing of the resort. Each room has access to a private balcony and some directly overlook the swimming pool. Its area provides enough comfortable space to accommodate a maximum of 3 persons. Interconnecting prestige rooms are available for families
137 Junior Suites :
The 137 newly built Junior Suites (41 Beachfront & 96 Seaview) are nestled in the north wing of the Resort. Its bedroom with its exclusive decor provides a unique accommodation experience. A private and furnished balcony or terrace will tend to retain you in your suite. Ground floor and first floor inter leading Junior Suites are available as well as 2 Junior Suites that cater for disabled guests.
Deluxe Suites :
Our 6 ocean view Deluxe Suites are all located in the south wing. Every Deluxe Suite has a separate living room and has an optional feature of being connected to a Prestige room, which is suitable for families.
20 Villas with Private Pool :
The villas of Belle Mare Plage The Resort are the embodiment of a new art of living. The 20 Villas of 375 to 525 sq.m (with 2 to 3 bedrooms) evoke feelings of romance and timelessness. With a lounge and outside relaxing areas overlooking your private pool, the Villas offer a layout and a living space that cannot be equalled. The restauration within the villas are personalised thanks to the Villa Master. The landscaping surrounding the Villas is enhanced by small lakes, frangipani and coconut groves.
Presidential Villa :
This unique Villa within an exclusive location comprises of 2 ground floor rooms and first master bedroom as well as a living & dining room and a kitchen which guarantees complete privacy. With its private pool and spacious veranda, the Presidential Villa offers 650 m2 of living, and exterior exclusive space in a peaceful location far from main hotel building. Two Villa masters are permanently at the service of the guests during their stay.

Blue Penny Cafe :
Blue Penny Café is Constance Belle Mare Plage's gastronomic restaurant of 45 place settings under the direction of Chef Michael Scioli. The chef has brought to Blue Penny Café, a wealth of international experience and unique talent.
La Citronnelle :
Main restaurant (350 seats) overlooking the beach and pool, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner (food court in buffet style). This restaurant serves tropical and Italian buffets, grills and seafood with a hint of flavours and Mauritian Terroir. La Citronelle serves breakfast and dinner in a relaxed atmosphere with few tables in partitioned area for more intimate dining. Kids corner with separate buffet, accompanied by our hostesses.
La Spiaggia :
La Spiaggia restaurant is situated in a private corner near the Villas. It offers a gastronomic cuisine. Chef Stephan Baussaurd invites you to experience its finest cuisine with a blend of italian and fresh island products.
Deer Hunter :
The (80 seats) restaurant is located at the golf clubhouse. It is open for breakfast, lunch and a la carte dinner. Our chef Mike Payenmootoo offers exclusive European cuisine combined with a Mauritian flavour, in a fine dining ambiance. A half-board menu is also available every day for dinner (reservations required due to limited capacity). Continental breakfast buffet is also available for early golfers.
The Swing :
Situated at the Links Golf Club, the restaurant overlooks the magnificent golfcourse. Open for lunch only it offers a selection of sandwiches and salads.
Indigo Beach :
Beachside restaurant (80 seats), open only for lunch and for special evenings such as lobster. The restaurant is perfectly situated at the water's edge, offering a splendid view of the lagoon. Ordering your food and drinks without leaving your sun bed is possible.
La Kaze :
Beach restaurant, situated near the Prestige rooms, serves a variety of snacks, salads, sandwiches, grilled dishes, pizzas and light meals. Afternoon tea and pancakes are available.
